I'm not too familiar with Lofgren, but the vintage reproduction pieces are quite impressive. This 1920s Japanese dyed indigo work shirt includes hexagon embossed buttons, scalloped double back yoke and underarms, and of course a railroad style watch pocket with angled button hole for all you watch chain enthusiasts. The details and construction of the shirt help solidify my first impression of John Lofgren as a brand, subtle and classic.

I know the pricing is prohibitive to many - myself included - but these are a prime example of what Visvim does best - using a classic silhouette and taking it somewhere new; making it the best it can be through considered design and innovation. The combination of grey denim and tonal leopard print on the tongue and heel is a measured touch, unique but not overpowering, making them easy to wear, but a little more interesting than standard cap toe options.

You can put this freshly on the top of my 'want' list. Head Porter and Silly Thing have worked together on a photography project before, but this one has resulted in a set of great looking, very functional bags. Especially the small lens and camera bags would be great to have handy. The all black everything colour choice, clean details and fabric all look very nice together.

We don't normally post that much runway imagery, but the Missoni Spring-Summer '12 collection warrants the attention. Styled by our friend, and regular Inventory contributor, Stephen Mann, the show featured lots of simple light layering and considered combinations of pattern and colour. The collection merges elements of sportswear and technical detailing with neat cuts and Missoni's iconic knitwear resulting in something inventive and modern, yet equally wearable.
