Words

I came across this sweater last week at Gravity Pope Tailored Goods and quite liked it. Although I haven't purchased anything from A.P.C. for quite a while, I find that I am liking the brand more and more these days. Besides the quilts that are currently available in their stores, this sweater also looks really nice and feels just as good.

Words

As the A.P.C. collection has slowly evolved over the years, the lightweight knitwear has continued to be a strong point. The palette this fall is just right, the fits are always nice and the brand's general good quality means they're pretty reasonable value. The beige colour is my favorite from this offering and if I wasn't waiting for a similar piece from Margaret Howell, I would be pretty tempted to pick up this sweater immediately.

A.P.C. Fall Miltary Jacket

Words

Unsurprisingly A.P.C. have put out another camo jacket for the fall season. This particular style usually captures my attention as I've been on the fence about buying something similar for a while. I love the camouflage pattern combined with a corduroy collar. With simple buttons, a nice tartan lining and what is likely to be a cotton twill exterior, this fall's offering is a nice way to add the pattern to your closet.

A.P.C. Jacket

01

Details

—01. Nice muted camo pattern.

Words

A large chunk of their clothing is inspired by the military, so it’s hardly surprising how blatent the reference is here. The lighter desert themed camouflage is a nice lively pattern for the spring and it’s a little bit more subtle than the desert storm camo you might find on surplus jackets. The washed out faded tones of the jacket make it easy to wear with basically any colour and the straightforward, somewhat slim cut allows for it. As with all A.P.C. the jacket’s utility is great as it’d look just as good on its own as it would under a windbreaker.

A.P.C. Striped Pullover

Details

—01. Nice simple palette.

Words

For me Spring is about simplicity and comfort. Clothes that are easy to wear any time of the day and with anything else in your wardrobe. It’s in this department that APC excels in and this striped sweater is a perfect example. The copper and navy make for a fantastic colour combination that’d go nicely with a lighter shade of pants or shorts. A nice thin weight knit is a great alternative to pull on instead of the usual t-shirt when it gets a little warmer too.

A.P.C. Madras Shirts

APC - Red Plaid Cotton Shirt This spring A.P.C. have continued their nice and neat range of Madras cotton products with no surprise. The offering usually has a couple of items I like and this spring is no different. The large red plaid Madras looks great on both the long sleeve and short sleeve versions and I can't help but get excited for warm weather while looking at these. The items are available at a couple of shops aside from A.P.C., End also have the matching shorts if you felt so inclined.

A.P.C. Leather Weekend Duffle

APC Weekend Duffle I'm not sure if A.P.C. is really considered best-in-class for any specific product, maybe affordable raw denim, but they sure do a great job overall as a brand and a collection. It's one of the few brands that can't do much wrong and seem to effortlessly do a lot of right. Their latest version of the weekend duffle comes in a full grain leather. The classic shape takes a fair bit of leather to get the job done and with the subtle branding stamp, good size for it's use and perfect colour, it's a great looking bag. Without actually feeling the leather and putting it to use I would say it's one of their better bags in my opinion. The detachable shoulder strap, nice looking handles and satin lining are as they should be, so as long as the bag holds up it's only going to look better and better.
