The latest Gyakusou collection by Nike will be releasing next month and we finally get to see imagery from the new offering. Unsurprisingly, there are a variety of shorts, jackets, accessories and tights that come in a beautiful palette and offer a unique take on active functional garment design.

The latest Gyakusou collection is now available at select retailers and Nike stores. This spring is the first time they've made running shoes I've liked, while the rest of the collection is just as strong as usual. The mix of fabrics and the color palette are both particularly nice.

The recent popularity and interest in running gear lately has of course been lead by Nike. Whether it's through their onslaught of new Lunar and Free footwear, or via Japan and the Gyakusou project, the movement is undeniable. Some have even said that running is the new fix-gear bike. That said, I have always been a big fan of Nike, whether its trainers or sneakers or football kits, but the recent wears that Nike have been making are really nice. As somebody who tries to be active, it's absolutely function, looks great, fits well and performs. Naturally being a bit product obsessive, the Gyakuous project is really appealing, hardly available and well packaged.
