Words

The photo book, Chloë Sevigny, has just been released by the much revered Rizzoli publishing house. This hardcover volume features photos of everyone’s favourite It girl throughout the sartorial arc of her career, starting in the ‘90s when she epitomized the downtown NYC skater girl look, right through to her current iteration of trendsetting: high fashion Hollywood actress. "The book includes early personal photos of Chloë taken by her high school friends; film stills; modeling appearances for brands such as Miu Miu and Chloé; magazine editorials for Purple, i-D, and The Face by top photographers such as Mark Borthwick, Terry Richardson, and Juergen Teller; and homages by artists such as Elizabeth Peyton and Karen Kilimnik. Additionally, Sevigny shares some of her treasured personal memorabilia, such as casting fliers, Polaroids, zines, and pages from her day planners.” Chloë Sevigny is a must for die-hard fans and those with an interest in contemporary fashion, alike.

One of the more interesting musicians to come onto the R&B scene last year was undoubtably Corbin, otherwise known as Spooky Black. At age 16, the Minnesota native's music is surprisingly mature and deep, both in sound and content. i-D gives us a little more insight into the singer's thought process, style choices, and his future.

The iconic i-D magazine recently relaunched their website, having been purchased by a certain controversial and divisive free publication and media company (the clue is in the domain name). Among the editorials, street-style photographs and model profiles are a couple of interesting interviews that you won't need to bother going to the newsagents for. Why leave your house anyway? Just put something on the stereo, maybe that 6 Feet Beneath the Moon record you've been pretending you're not that impressed by, and read this interview with it's creator Archy Marshall. A spokesperson for overachieving young gingers everywhere.

The latest Great British Hope, Andy Baddeley, recently answered a few questions for i-D Magazine about his daily preparations and training rituals. Baddeley backs both New Balance, and porridge, making him a pretty stand-up guy in my book. 100 Miles a week? Sure thing.
