As a last minute addition to our launch event at 0fr this evening, we're pleased to announce a performance by friend and Issue 11 cover photographer Mark Borthwick. Alongside a video projection and series of works by Oliver Payne, Mark will be performing a number of his own uncommon compositions, and we hope those in the city will be able to stop by to celebrate with us from 6-9pm.

Words

Having produced ten issues of Inventory it felt like the right time to take a step back; to evolve things and present something fresh. This is exactly what Issue 11 represents. Alongside a new format and updated design, the Fall-Winter ’14 cover, shot by Mark Borthwick, features Hiroki Nakamura – creator and designer of seminal brand Visvim. Our eleventh edition also includes Oliver Payne, Margaret Howell, John Gluckow, Dover Street Market, Hirofumi Kurino, Naissance and Yohji Yamamoto, as well as contributions by Shin Murayama, Hanna Putz, Brian DeGraw and Gosha Rubchinskiy. At 224 pages and with launches planned in Tokyo, Los Angeles and Paris, among other cities, it's our most ambitious issue to date. Now available from Inventory, the magazine will be arriving at stockists around the world over the course of the next two weeks.

It was with great pleasure that we spent an afternoon with photographer Mark Borthwick for the latest issue of the magazine. Among many topics discussed that day, was the use of images, and the homes that they find over time. During this particular conversation Mark discussed working on a new website with his daughter Bibi, and that particular project has recently gone live. An archive of Mark's fashion, nature and personal photography can be found here, alongside scans of all of his books, and details of past gallery and museum shows.

Coinciding with the biennial that began last week, Mark Borthwick's new show Fountains of Ardor opened over the weekend in the new Comme des Garçons store in Berlin. The show is as you would expect from Borthwick: collages of photos and polaroids are displayed alongside the artworks, poems, and flowers that adorn both the walls and the floor of the gallery space.

There are a few books I've been hunting for online, however when it comes to ebay it can be a tricky beast. Some days you'll get an incredible deal, and sometimes the item you want will just sit there, for 28 days, 11 hours and 12 minutes. Buy it now. No 'or best offer', not really much of an option. Just waiting for it to run out, while it just waits for your patience to run out.
