Christophe Lemaire left his post at Hermès earlier this summer, with plans to focus all of his attention on his own collection. It will be interesting to see how the label evolves, as it's already in a good place. The first fall delivery from the brand has now arrived at Neighbour, including shirting, trousers and some outerwear.

Unsurprisingly, the Spring–Summer '15 shows have brought a lot of colour and pattern to the runway, but Christophe Lemaire has avoided the least bit of either with his latest offering. Instead, the extremely restrained collection provides plenty of interesting detail through silhouette, fabrication, and the casual structure of its jackets; all of which make for a universally cohesive and wearable selection.

Unfortunately, most fashion companies seem to have signed some sort of secret document saying that all mercerized tees must be skin tight and nearly half length. Christophe Lemaire operates around the red tape here though, crafting an atypically baggy shirt out of the lustrous cotton.
