After Unis opened their Los Angeles store with the help of the team at Makr, it was only a matter of time before the original New York shop got a make over. The space looks entirely different, with completely custom shelving, racks and tables - the new shop looks great and functions very nicely.

New York based brand Unis is set to open their new location in Los Angeles this Friday. We are very excited for Eunice Lee and her talented team which are producing some amazing garments with fabrics sourced from Italy and Japan. The new space looks really clean, elegant and spatially inviting. Congratulations to Eunice and if you are in the neighborhood this weekend be sure to check out the new spot on south la brea avenue.

If Unis was known for one thing in over the past ten years, it's the Gio chinos. The New York brand has since built itself on these great fitting, well made pants. Neighbour recently received a shipment of the pants. The cotton is nicely washed and the tones offer a great variety of spring tones, with a weight that works all year-round.

Unis continues to focus on easy to wear, comfortable and natural looking garments in great fabrics. The New York based brand has never strayed far from this vision and that keeps people coming back time and time again. Using a little bit more color this fall, the collection features great some staples, nice silhouettes and a wonderful selection of fabrics from Italy.

New York brand Unis is preparing to finish off their fall production and launch the new collection in stores. Over the years Unis has been known for the refined basics and now that the Felix shirt and Gio chinos are down, this fall was an opportunity to add some more colour through outer layers and shells. With pops of blue and orange, the collection is nicely accented but still remains about those core items that need to be in every guys closet.

Unis have just put their spring–summer look book online for the current season. The photographs were taken by one of our contributing photographers, Ken Tisuthiwongse. The flowers and greenery of New York play host to the brands light weight fabrics, muted colors and understated design. The full collection is available in their Elizabeth St. shop and we also have a feature with the New York based brand in our spring issue.

It’s been a very compact and exciting spring so far this year as we have new developments in all aspects of Inventory, but our main focus has been the production of our second issue of the magazine. Finally our Spring–Summer 2010 issue is going to the printers and we are excited to present the two covers for the upcoming offering. We feel the new issue not only met the standard of our initial launch but perhaps exceeded it with a more diverse range of content, some great new contributors and an additional 30 pages. Featured in our spring issue are Margaret Howell, The Real McCoy’s, Beams, White Mountaineering, Our Legacy, Wm. J. Mills & Co., Unis, New Balance and several other fascinating people, brands and stories. The issue will be available to pre-order through the Inventory Stockroom next week and will be shipping and hitting shelves in early/mid-May.
