Post Overalls was one of the few brands we added to our stock list this summer, and it's the one that we were most excited about - mainly due to their shorts. The fabric is simply great. The weight, colors, construction and patterns all make for some of the best shorts around this season. Post Overalls don't just offer the evidently trendy 'floral' pattern, they also provide some interesting options you won't find from any other brands. We're very pleased to have them in stock, at least for now anyway.

We seem to be getting a nice little boost of new summer products just in time for the weather to turn and to keep things fresh. While you can expect to see some new shorts, more knit goods and some new Duluth Packs shortly, you might also noticed we just got a few of our favorite summer pieces back in stock, including the blue Mattalini jacket by Post Overalls. We also received a large re-stock of Velva Sheen pocket tees in oatmeal, grey, white and also a few mixed packs.

Recently, during arguably the worst time to open a shop in Japan, Post Overalls opened a small store front in Aoyama, Tokyo. The shop features a full selection of Takeshi's collection, as well as a few special products. As an exclusive for the store, Takeshi and Daiki worked together to create this Engineer jacket. The details are simple and the result is very nice.

When it comes to vintage references, fabric choice and a great balance of classic styles and playful patterns, Post Overalls is one of the best. It's been fun getting to know Takeshi and Katsu over the last couple of years, and we're finally pleased to have their product in our shop. Our first spring shipment was small, and has sold quickly, but I thought it was worth highlighting the great fabrics and beautiful shades of blue in some of Post's best spring pieces.

The C-Post shirt from Post Overalls is definitely my favorite in the collection. This spring it comes in two of the best fabrics possible, a red gingham and blue chambray. The shirt has several classic work wear details, including straight cuffs, tab collar, contrast sitching and of course Post's casual fit.

The sales are definitely on and in full force in most shops around the world. On one hand, I don't like to see it, and definitely not too early as it hurts the industry, the brands and the retailers. On the other hand, I am a consumer and it is great to get a good deal. Lots of shops have heavily discounted merchandise, but Present has some of the best items in decent size runs that I've seen. These are a couple of items I've been eying up this fall, but there are many more to be found.
