Yuketen have just updated their website with the fall collection and a handful of images from the lookbook. The photographs capture the beauty that is Maine in the winter. Yuki and Ryan make the trip each season to shoot their lookbook in the wilderness, showing the Yuketen products in the environment they're made for. Now also featuring fall garments from Monitaly, my only complaint is that there aren't more of the shots on their website.

Yuketen Fall Delivery

Yuketen is definitely one of the brands we are most excited to see each season. The brand and people behind it are great, and the products are always exceptional. We just received our first fall delivery which includes the Melton wool backpack, with natural veggie leather straps and accents. It's a serious bag, made by hand and lined with red canvas with multiple compartments. The first shoe to arrive is the Angler Moccasin in peanut suede - a great shoe that's arguably better than the Ranger Moc. We are looking forward to the arrival of a couple more styles in the coming month, including an INVENTORY/Yuketen collaboration.

Yuketen Spring Items

Present are the most recent shop to receive a couple of Yuketen’s spring items. The Ring Boots and canvas Canoe pack and a couple of triangle packs are all nice looking spring pieces that haven’t been bought by too many accounts this season. The bags are made with a really nice tough fabric and the veggie tanned leather is the perfect accent.

Yuketen Fisherman Oxford

While the Country series from Yuketen definitely had us excited this spring, the Fisherman Oxford is another great looking, slightly more sturdy model that a couple of shops have picked up. The Bureau still his the tough spring shoe in a couple of sizes and it’s definitely well suited to be a year round choice with the nice Vibram sole.

The Yuketen spring collection has been one of the most anticipated this season - at least in my own mind. There were a lot of great models, leathers and new styles but I felt that the three we choose for the Stockroom made a great little collection. Going with crepe soles across the board, a slight variety of brown leathers and suede and three very strong shoes. The Sport Chukka is the last of the three we ordered for the spring and they just arrived today. As usual, they look even better then I remembered from last summer.

Sometimes getting dressed is just as easy as it should be. The staples of spring often work just as well all year round, but they look particularly nice as the weather turns and the lighter tones come together. The socks are left behind and the layers are light and comfortable.

The last couple of days have definitely made spring and summer feel like they are as close as they’ve ever been. While I haven’t broken out short pants yet this season, it could be doable with a couple of upper layers to keep you warm. I love the red, natural and navy tones from the Wilson sweat, the EG madras and the indigo fatigue shorts. The hickory striped Sassafras jacket could easily be thrown in the Mills tote bag if it gets that much warmer.

In Stock: Yuketen Country Footwear

It's been a long wait for myself after buying from the collection last summer. The first delivery from a brand is always a bit extra exciting and also a little bit nerve racking as you don't really know if people are going to like what you've ordered. That said, with Yuketen's spring shoes I felt pretty excited and I knew they were going to be well accepted. This spring I wanted to keep the selection edited and tight and the common theme was to have crepe soles across the board. The first two models that have arrived are probably my favorites as they really feel extra special and utilize the sole, leather and Yuketen aesthetic perfectly. The Country Loafer and Country Ranger are probably some of the best shoes available from anybody this season. They quality of the leathers and construction is incredible and you can feel it as soon as you handle or put on the shoes. It's no surprise they've already been going quickly, so if your size is still around I wouldn't wait long. Both pairs now available at the Inventory Stockroom —
