When I last visited Tokyo, Papier Labo was one of my favorite shops. We never would have found it if we hadn't been taken there as its tucked down a small side street in Sendagaya. The tiny space is home to a retail shop and a design office. Kimiaki Eto has more recently grown his offering of stationery and objects, both are nicely complimented by the 208 page book which looks at all things Papier Labo.

Spring Colour from Loftman Coop Umeda

It's always a little disorientating to see the first splashes of colour, as the spring collections begin to arrive. Eventually though, those feelings give way to excitement and the realization that warmer climates and brighter clothes are not too far away. Loftman have done an excellent job styling together some of these brighter spring items alongside more muted autumn tones, as a lead-in to the season ahead.

Johnstons Cashmere Socks

There are plenty of sock options out there, and a wide range of prices to go along with them. I personally haven't been able to step to a pair of cashmere socks, but if I was going to buy some, these simple ribbed ones from Johnstons look great and feel better.

Eleanor Pritchard for Inventory Items

This season we worked with Eleanor Prichard to make a special blanket for Inventory. After choosing her 'Quail's Egg' pattern, we decided to use three different shades of blue to combine for a nice tonal affect. The pattern was originally inspired by speckled shells and is made using a rickrack boarder and features a blanket stitch edging. Eleanor has worked with some wonderful brands and we were honoured that she would make a unique version of this blanket for us.
