Gitman Vintage have made some great summer shirting this season, using a selection of tasteful but unique fabrics to bring to life their new Camp Shirt style. This lightweight, tonal blue option, featuring the brand's Tropes of Summer patchwork, has me looking forward to the warm weather ahead.

Engineered Garments High Count Twill BDU Shirt

01

Image

—01. Battle Dress Uniform.

Words

This Engineered Garments BDU Shirt is pretty much a perfect piece. Made from high count twill, the classic military style functions as a great lightweight jacket, not overdone on the details, but modernized just enough from the original reference.

Filson Duffle Backpack

01

Images

—01. Made in USA.
—02. 100% Cotton Tin Cloth.

Words

The Duffle Backpack might just be the right piece of carry-on luggage for those that do more stuffing than folding and more carrying than rolling. It would be a great durable alternative to cumbersome wheeled luggage and between the large main compartment, the internal laptop sleeve, and exterior organizer pockets, it has room for almost everything.

Nomad has been one of Canada's best menswear shops since they opened their doors in Toronto a few years ago. Today, they are still leading the way in Toronto and have just opened their second location in the city. Now taking up space on Queen St., the menswear shop brings their strong aesthetic and nice mix of goods to another area of town. If you're stopping by Toronto, it's definitely worth making it to at least one of their shops. I once had a 7 hour layover in Toronto and took a cab to the store and back; I didn't leave disappointed, or empty handed.
