Nomad has been one of Canada's best menswear shops since they opened their doors in Toronto a few years ago. Today, they are still leading the way in Toronto and have just opened their second location in the city. Now taking up space on Queen St., the menswear shop brings their strong aesthetic and nice mix of goods to another area of town. If you're stopping by Toronto, it's definitely worth making it to at least one of their shops. I once had a 7 hour layover in Toronto and took a cab to the store and back; I didn't leave disappointed, or empty handed.

Engineered Garments @ Nomad

It's rare we can blog about Engineered Garments landing in Canada as there are only a few retailers carrying the collection. As one of my top picks for the spring I am excited to see a couple great items like the Andover jacket and the 19th Century BD in the first shipment. The shawl vest in navy plaid is also a great surprise. I tried to track down this piece in the winter with no luck in a grey wool. I am definitely feeling the subtle plaid for the spring but still have a hard time dropping $200+ on a vest. The EG work chinos are some of my favorites as well. I am wearing a fall version in olive as I type this and I wouldn't mind adding a lighter tone for the summer months, especially in contrast to that great coat. Okay...sorry, you get it.
